أعلنت وزارة الداخلية، اليوم الخميس، انضمام العراق رسمياً إلى الاتحاد الدولي لأكاديميات الشرطة (INTERPA).
وذكر بيان للوزارة، تلقاه(الخبر العراقي )، أن “وزارة الداخلية تعلن- بفخر واعتزاز- عن انضمام جمهورية العراق رسمياً إلى الاتحاد الدولي لأكاديميات الشرطة (INTERPA)، وهو إنجاز جديد يضاف إلى سجل النجاحات التي حققتها الوزارة في تعزيز حضور العراق على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي”.
وأضاف البيان، أن “هذا الانضمام يأتي تتويجاً للجهود الدؤوبة والتوجيهات الحكيمة لوزير الداخلية عبد الأمير الشمري، الذي عمل على توسيع آفاق التعاون الأكاديمي والأمني مع مؤسسات إنفاذ القانون في مختلف دول العالم، وترسيخ موقع العراق كشريك فاعل في المنظومة الدولية للتدريب الشرطوي وتبادل الخبرات”.
وتابع البيان، أن “انضمام العراق إلى هذا الاتحاد العالمي يمثل خطوة نوعية نحو الارتقاء بالمستوى الأكاديمي والتدريبي لمنتسبي الشرطة، ويُسهم في تطوير المناهج الحديثة وتعزيز كفاءة المؤسسات التعليمية التابعة لوزارة الداخلية، بما ينسجم مع المعايير الدولية في مجالات الأمن ومكافحة الجريمة وحماية حقوق الإنسان”.
وأكدت الوزارة، بحسب البيان، أن “هذا الإنجاز يعكس ثقة المجتمع الدولي بالمؤسسة الأمنية العراقية وقدرتها على التطور المستمر والانفتاح البنّاء على التجارب العالمية الرصينة في مجالات التأهيل والتدريب الشرطي”.
واختتم البيان، أن “الوزارة تتقدم بالشكر والتقدير لكل من أسهم في تحقيق هذا النجاح، مجددةً التزامها بمواصلة العمل بروح الفريق الواحد لخدمة أمن العراق وشعبه”.
