قررت هيئة الإعلام والاتصالات، منع الإعلامي فريد مجيد من الظهور بوسائل الإعلام لمدة 30 يوما.
وقالت الهيئة بحسب وثيقة تلقاها (الخبر العراقي) إنه “استناداً إلى الصلاحيات الممنوحة بموجب الأمر التشريعي (65) لسنة 2004 النافذ، وبناء على تقرير الرصد الإعلامي في دائرة التنظيم الإعلامي المتعلقة بتصريحات (فريد مجيد)، خلال مشاركته في برنامج (كوورة) الذي تم بثه عبر قناة الفرات الفضائية التي تضمنت إساءة ومساساً بالذات الإلهية وبما يشكل مخالفة لمواد لائحة قواعد البث الإعلامي الصادرة عن هذه الهيئة، تقرر منع الظهور الإعلامي لفريد مجيد في جميع وسائل الإعلام العراقية والمحلية والاجنيبة العاملة في العراق لمدة 30 يوما من تاريخ صدور اعمامنا هذا”.
