لقاح الروسي يفتح حقبة جديدة وجذرية في علاج السرطان في العالم

يستطيع لقاح السرطان الذي تم تطويره في روسيا أن يغير بشكل جذري صناعة علاج السرطان العالمية ويمهد الطريق لنموذج طبي جديد في علاج الأورام الخبيثة.
أفاد بذلك البروفيسور أولفي ساران، رئيس الصندوق التركي للدراسات الاجتماعية (KAV)، وكتب على منصة التواصل الاجتماعي Х: “يمتلك هذا اللقاح القدرة على إحداث تغيير جذري في صناعة علاج السرطان العالمية وفتح الباب أمام حقبة جديدة”.
وبحسب الخبير، يختلف اللقاح الجديد الذي تم تطويره في روسيا اختلافا جوهريا عن العلاجات التقليدية كالعلاج الكيميائي والإشعاعي. فبدلا من استهداف الورم مباشرة، يقوم هذا اللقاح بتدريب الجهاز المناعي على التعرّف على الخلايا السرطانية وتدميرها.
أشار ساران إلى أن نتائج الدراسات الأولية تُظهر إمكانية إبطاء نمو الورم، وتقليل خطر عودته، وإطالة عمر المريض. ويعتقد أن هذا النهج قد يكون أكثر أمانا وانتقائية من العلاجات التقليدية، التي غالبا ما ترتبط بآثار جانبية جدية.
وأكد الخبير أنه في حال تطبيق اللقاح على نطاق واسع، فإنه سيُحدث تغييرا جذريا في ميزان القوى في سوق علاج الأورام العالمية، التي تقدّر قيمتها بنحو 2.6 تريليون دولار. ويعتقد أن هذا من شأنه أن يُسرّع الانتقال من نموذج يعتمد على العلاجات الباهظة الثمن إلى استراتيجية الوقاية والحماية المناعية.
في وقت سابق، قال وزير الصحة الروسي ميخائيل موراشكو إن تطوير لقاح السرطان يسير وفقا للخطة، وقد تم إنتاج الدفعات الأولى الاختبارية من اللقاح في المصنع الذي تم بناؤه لإنتاجه.
قبل ذلك، أعلن موراشكو أن وزارة الصحة الروسية قد وافقت على الاستخدام السريري للقاح mRNA لسرطان الجلد “NEOONCOVAC”.
لقاحات الحمض النووي الريبوزي المرسال (mRNA) هي نوع مبتكر من اللقاحات، يستخدم الحمض النووي الريبوزي المرسال (mRNA) لترميز بروتين مسبب للمرض. تحفز هذه اللقاحات خلايا الجسم على إنتاج مستضد، مما يؤدي إلى استجابة مناعية دون استخدام فيروسات حية. تشمل الأنواع الرئيسية لقاحات الحمض النووي الريبوزي المرسال غير المتكاثرة، وذاتية التكاثر، والمشتقة من الخلايا المتغصنة. وتُبشر هذه اللقاحات بنتائج واعدة في مجال الوقاية من العدوى وعلاج السرطان.
